Piano Music – A new age
When we are stressed out we prefers to listen soft music which gives us peace. Piano is the best instrument to play as it consists of 88 keys and produces a variety of sounds. But managing 88 key is not an easy task. It takes time to learn this classic instrument. In modern time piano playing becomes easy.
You don’t need to learn lots of chords or notation or any other technicalities to play piano. Modern piano lessons consist of minimum chord variations. There are 3 very common technique used to play new age piano.
The repeating pattern – You might have heard about this technique many times. In music terms it is called Ostinato. It is very easy and quick to create new age music. The ostinato is played over and over while the right hand mixes it up and produce change with melody and you can change the ostinato pattern.
Just a few small notes’s change can give a new flavor and can catch listener attention.
Arpeggios up and down – It is also known as crossing over. Crossing over is very easy and nice as well. It is an important technique that makes it easy to play 6 notes with 5 fingers smoothly. Mostly left hand create cascading pattern of notes that can ascend or descend or both depending on how it is played. Few chords in the left hand break up into arpeggios and create a good harmony then right hand improvises a melody and the piece is created.
Broken chord technique is also a technique in which both hands are in play. It is seems to be tough. In this method, music is created by using both hands. Chords are broken by hands placed on it.
Open position chord with broken chord gives very good new age sound.
Most of the time teachers give triad to their students for learning. Triad has been used in music for more than 300 years. You can use your both hands by learning through open position chords and many people wants to learn through it.
New age piano seems very easy but actually it’s not. To improve your skill practice is necessary. Open position chord gives the best start to learn the new age piano.
